Leaving the house for yoga can be a little tricker than in the glorious summer months. We want to thank you for your loyalty and dedication to your yoga practice and to Connect Yoga. We continue to aim to spread yoga to our community and bring peace and joy to everyone who connects with us. Jill is back and Ed is about to depart for an eight week sabbatical. We apologise for the disruption, but will leave you in good hands. 

You have all met Kristine who filled in for Jill and I would like to introduce Angela, who did her YIN yoga training with Ed.

Ange has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and teaching for the last eight. She brings a deep appreciation for the balance yoga offers—on and off the mat. With a newly found passion for yin yoga, Angela is drawn to both the science behind the practice and the profound benefits it brings, physically and mentally. Her classes offer a calm, grounding space to slow down, release tension, and reconnect. 

During the time Ed is away, we have made the following plans to fulfil our timetable for June and July:

Mon - 6.45pm Jill Vinyasa - 21 Kawana Street
Wed - 5.30pm Jill  Vinyasa - St John the Baptist Church
Thur - 5.30pm Angela and Kris YIN - 21 Kawana Street
Friday - 9.00am Jill Vinyasa - 21 Kawana Street

 

You will notice that our Saturday time slot is no longer on the timetable. Due to a variety of factors- colder weather and poor turn out being the main ones, we will no longer be offering this class, but hope to bring it back later in the year. This was not a decision we made lightly and we apologise for any inconvenience that it may cause.

We will also not be offering classes on the upcoming June public holidays. This will effect the Monday (June 2nd) class and the Friday class (20th June).

We will be going on a 1 week break from 30th of June - 6th of July. Classes will resume as per the timetable above on 7th of July. 

Even as the days and nights turn cold we will do our best to provide a cozy, welcoming space for you to practice yoga. Can't wait to see you on the mat.
